Krypto The Super Pup

If you're wondering what happened to the tag on his color well I tried to do the S on there but the pen wouldn't let me. Here's a fun fact the entire time I was doing this up I had the theme song from the Krypton cartoon in my head. I'm not sure if that show is still going on or not but man I really couldn't stand and I'm not exactly sure why. Today I decided to jump back to the Kraft paper because yesterdays Lois sketch was just eeehhh for me. Hope you guys dig.

So for this one I tried to put some humor in the pic. I was looking thru Skottie Young's book Stuff, and found this awesome fire hydrant. The topic of the day was Krypto and, well, I just put them both together and got this. Pretty happy with it! Hope you likes =)

Survived the first week of this blog! For this weeks topics I want to try to do more of a scene. I can't guarantee I will be able to for all, but it is my goal! Pretty happy with this one. I wanted to try and make this image kinda a secondary image to Dan S.'s amazing piece "Head's I win". I don't think this no where compares to his epic masterpiece, but it's always fun to try. I reference from Dan quite often and try to sing his praise whenever I can, so stop by his sites and say Josh sent ya ;)

Bow Down Before Thanos

The Mad Titan!!!

Hey gang,

Feeling good about this one! The mighty Thanos!!! He is one of my all time fav villains! He is ruthless and just so damn cool! I really wanted to push the shapes and proportions for this one, and thanks to the inspiration of this image by me new DA friend I was able to create something I am really happy with. I totally took his body shape, but I did it as a learning experience, and am really happy I did. I also decided to ink this guy by hand, which is something I haven't done in forever! all in all I am happy with him. I think this next week I will push all my drawing in a way similar to this one, so I really hope you likes!

Ben Grimm AKA The Thing

Personally I really like this one I can already see myself painting this up. From the moment Frost said Thursday we're drawing The Thing I did a little snoopy dance, now if you fine folks we'll excuse me I'm going to pass out and grab as much sleep as I can. Night!

I give you the Invisible Woman! I looked threw a few friends pages on DA for reference, and after it all I came up with this! I like it, took me about 20min. Hope you all likes too!!

So today I got light blue paint marker and I went a little nuts with it. Anyway here she is the Invisible Woman being completely visible. I drew her up intermittently while watching TV and randomly munching on chips hence that little oily stain on the right. Hope you digs!

Kid Torch!!

Hey gang!

Man! This drawing actually kicked my ass!!! I did about 5 different attempts until I settled on this image, and finished it up. I worked on this on and off from 3pm-9pm!

For this image I really wanted to try and step away from my comfort zone a bit, and make a funner more dynamic angle/pose. I studied a couple images from my pal and mentor Cheeks, and well in the end came out with this! Hope you guys likes. I am happy with the end result!
